1. Providing labor education seminars among its members such as, Basic Workers Rights, Union Orientation, Basic Environment Seminar among others.



2. Represents its members in a Collective Bargaining to provide for relevant Wage increases and improvements in the terms and conditions of work of rank and file employees  in the company. On this account the average salary for a regular PLDT rank & file employee is Php43,000.00 as of 2011.

3. By representing its members, MKP has gained for its members benefits that would make a PLDT rank & file employee be paid equivalent to  18.3 months in a year. 

4. From a limited amount gained by the Union in previous CBA's, an interest free loan of P6,000 is being administered by the union. Availment depends on the availability of funds.

5. Grievance and Paralegal assistance is provided to members as well as representation resulting from such cases.

6. Legal services is provided to a member for administrative cases relating to employment and all other terms and conditions of work.

7. MKP also extend labor education seminars to non MKP members especially those unorganized.​

​UNION OFFICE​
 

In 1997, when it has still enough resources, coming mainly from the members union dues,  MKP was able to put up a three (3) story building. It serves as the Union Headquarters / Office. Aside from the office, it has a suitable facilities for meeting, conferences and two (2) lodging room for a live in seminar.
