Proposed CBA 2012-2015 submitted by the Union

The proposals for the CBA 2012-2015 have been submitted by the union leadership on September 3, 2012 Monday. It must be noted that Collective Bargaining negotiations may be initiated by the Union or Management 60 days prior to the expiration of the existing CBA. MKP's existing CBA with PLDT is about to expire on November 9, 2012. So technically, MKP can compel Management to sit down in a negotiations for the CBA on September 8, 2012. Every member is advised by the leadership to be vigilant and to collectively follow the developments of CBA 2012-2015.

SVP Menardo Jimenez Jr., dumalo sa unang araw ng Negosasyon na naging matiwasay at mapagkaisang paghaharap ng Management at Union Panel.

Sa unang paghaharap ng Management at Union panel para sa CBA 2012-2015, naging mapagkaisa ang diwa ng mga mensahe at palitan ng mga pahayag mula sa dalawang panig.

Binigyang inspirasyon ni SVP Menardo "Butch" Jimenez Jr. ang araw na ito na nagsabing "As best as I can, I will champion your position to the top Management and try to get for the PLDT Employees what they, not only want, but actually would deserve as well..."

Ginarantyahan din nya ang Union Panel ng respeto mula sa Management Panel sa kabila ng natural na tunggalian sa negosasyon. Nagpahayag din siya ng kanyang pagnanais na maging mabilis ang proseso ng negosasyon. Ayon sa kanya, "I will not low ball, I will not go through that exercise, as in moro-moro type. I'm not like that. When we give our offer I will commit to you, it is as near to the best offer as we can really give."

Sa panig ng Unyon ayon kay Pangulong Atong Castillo: "Sana maging makabuluhan anuman yung maibibigay sa mga empleyado. Kami rin maipapangako namin na pag nagpropose kami ng mga bagay-bagay na palagay namin ay resonable, nakalapat sa lupa ang mga paa namin habang iniisip namin yun. Wala kaming balak na abutin ang langit."
